Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Selection of Credentials andTickets for 2008 Olympics
First ID, Smart card and Ticket Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Summit, hosted by China Anti-counterfeiting Technology Association, organized by Beijing Zhong Guang Heng Tai Culture Communication Co, .Ltd (HT.C) was held in 2005, Beijing, Which focuses on Global industry of l ID, Smart card & Tickets. To this end, the forum invited the security department of 2008 Olympics organizing committee to attend the conference. Yang Minghui, director of Accreditation Center BOCOG made a presentation in our forum. After investigation, Olympics organizing committee recognized global concordance capacity of China Anti-counterfeiting Technology Association on Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Selection of of Credentials and Tickets In 2006, ID, Smart card and Ticket Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Summit, in which Rong Jun, director of Ticket Center made a presentation.Finally,2008 Olympics Organizing committee agreed China anti-counterfeiting Technology Association to undertake the Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Selection of Credentials and Tickets for 2008 Olympics.
After receiving the task of Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee, China Anti-counterfeiting Technology Association established a project group, on basis of the important achievement of 2005 & 2006 ID, Smart card and Ticket Security and Anti-counterfeiting Technology Summit. Through broad and careful selection, China Anti-counterfeiting Technology Association selected about 50 domestic and foreign suppliers which specialized in Anti-counterfeiting and Smart card Technology and organized over 10 workshops.
Finally,
under the positive promotion of China Anti-counterfeiting Technology Association and the forum It is the first time to combine RFID technology and traditional anti-counterfeiting technology applied to the tickets in 2008 Olympics to achieve a great success.¡ªthere are 1.8 million accreditation card and 13 million tickets. And no fake tickets were found.
